Quintessential rustic elegance, nestled within the rolling,

lowland valleys of the majestic Wyoming mountains.

Jackson Hole was a perfect fit for these clients, who wanted a large family retreat for skiing in the winter, and biking and hiking in the summer months. We had the privilege of working with them previously and so, with their busy schedule, it was decided that we would embark on a three day buying trip together, and that I would be given free reign to fill in the blanks thereafter. During our trip we chose linens for each bedroom and a color scheme for the great room. The client wanted something durable which would withstand the elements, but also the furnishings needed to be elegant, yet cozy. It was important to them that we not over-decorate and leave with them the ability to add their own touches with the art they collect on their travels, as well as some family heirlooms and family portraits. To that end, we left some wall spaces open, as well as some other areas, which would allow them to grow into the house as they filled it with their own energy and family memories.
